A Complete Checklist of Everything You Should be Disinfecting

A Complete Checklist of Everything You Should be Disinfecting

There were many carefree years of my life when I wasn’t afraid of germs and rarely got sick. And then I had children! These days, I’m totally a hand sanitizing, Clorox wipes wielding, Lysol spraying, germaphobe. Especially during cold and flu season…and even more so now during the coronavirus outbreak! I made a huge list of everything I need to sanitize a few months ago when we had a big trip coming up. I’ve relied on this list to keep my family well and wanted to share it with you. Print it out for your home!

Where to Eat Play and Stay at Myrtle Beach

We received complimentary accommodations in Myrtle Beach from Condo-World in exchange for an honest review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own!

Where to Eat Play and Stay at Myrtle Beach

Last weekend we took a quick trip to Myrtle Beach. The weather in Atlanta was rainy and dreary, and I was so happy to be escaping to the sunny beach for a few days! We’ve never taken the kids to Myrtle Beach, so I had no idea where to begin to look for somewhere to stay. Luckily, Condo-World stepped in and helped us to find a great place!

Where to Stay:

Condo-World offers the area’s largest selection of oceanfront Myrtle Beach condo rentals. (Because I always say that if you’re going to the beach, you might as well stay ON the beach!) Condo-World has condos for all budgets and tastes and you can book online or over the phone with ease. (They also have vacation rentals in Gatlinburg, Panama City Beach, Destin, South Walton, Pigeon Forge, Orlando, and Hilton Head!) We stayed at the Bay View Resort, which was close to all of the local attractions and restaurants.

Bay View Resort has beautiful oceanfront suites and 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom condos. I mean – just look at this view!!! You can’t beat that!

Disney Cruise Recap Days 3 and 4

Day 3

Day 3 started out with some morning snuggles! Then the kids went to the kid’s club so the adults could enjoy the spa. I didn’t take any pictures inside the spa area, but we enjoyed checking it out. I will say that we probably won’t do the spa on our next cruise. I found it hard to lay around and relax when there were so many other fun things I wanted to do and experience! After the spa, we met up with my dad for some lunch.

How to Stay Healthy Before (And During) a Vacation

There’s a really funny meme that’s circulating lately that goes:

Before I had kids, I thought I had a great immune system. Turns out I was just really good at staying away from the type of people who sneeze directly into your eyeballs while telling a story.

Kids are so gross! I’ve never had the best immune system, but since becoming a mom it seems like I’m always sick between the months of September and May. It’s not fun. I also always seem to get sick when we travel. And we travel a lot! Before our big cruise in January, I made a long list of things to do to (try) and keep my family healthy before we set sail. And guess what – it worked! We actually stayed well during the entire trip! But I DID get sick the day after we got home. (Ridiculous, right?) I’ll share my list below, but please remember – I’m not a doctor and you should consult with your primary care doctor before taking any medicine or supplements.

Holiday Hacks for Busy Moms

By on December 20, 2019

Isn’t it great how we moms can just sit back this time of year and let Santa take care of everything? Oh wait… 😑🙄

Christmas may be full of holiday magic and cheer, but it’s also one of the most stressful times of the year for moms. The mental burden of your family’s to-do list is heavy, and we’re all feeling that extra weight on our shoulders. Presents to buy and wrap, holiday meals to plan, groceries to purchase, food to cook, holiday outfits to coordinate, decorations to put out – it all adds up! Not to mention all of the other chores we normally do like dishes and laundry. We also have to make sure our kids have a magical Christmas – Santa pictures, gingerbread houses, elf on the shelf, stocking stuffers, an advent calendar, Christmas cookies, reindeer food – we seriously need our own fleet of elves to help with everything!

Luckily I have a few holiday hacks that can help save your sanity. I’m not saying I’m perfect (I’ll be right there with you at Target on Christmas Eve buying a last-minute gift) but I think these tips will help you save some time and energy!
