We received complimentary accommodations in Myrtle Beach from Condo-World in exchange for an honest review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own!

Where to Eat Play and Stay at Myrtle Beach

Last weekend we took a quick trip to Myrtle Beach. The weather in Atlanta was rainy and dreary, and I was so happy to be escaping to the sunny beach for a few days! We’ve never taken the kids to Myrtle Beach, so I had no idea where to begin to look for somewhere to stay. Luckily, Condo-World stepped in and helped us to find a great place!

Where to Stay:

Condo-World offers the area’s largest selection of oceanfront Myrtle Beach condo rentals. (Because I always say that if you’re going to the beach, you might as well stay ON the beach!) Condo-World has condos for all budgets and tastes and you can book online or over the phone with ease. (They also have vacation rentals in Gatlinburg, Panama City Beach, Destin, South Walton, Pigeon Forge, Orlando, and Hilton Head!) We stayed at the Bay View Resort, which was close to all of the local attractions and restaurants.

Bay View Resort has beautiful oceanfront suites and 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom condos. I mean – just look at this view!!! You can’t beat that!

I was so impressed with how much space we had in our 2-bedroom condo. The resort is perfect for families, couples, or groups.

My kids were most excited about the indoor heated pool and lazy river. They had a blast and swam for hours! Bay View Resort also has a hot tub, kiddie pool, and fitness center; and included with each stay are free wi-fi, unlimited DVD rentals, tickets to local attractions and more.

One of my favorite things about Bay View Resort is that it’s in a great location on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. It’s walking distance to the Sky Wheel, Ripley’s Museum, Family Kingdom Amusement Park, and tons of shops and restaurants!

And for all of you that need your coffee ASAP in the morning (like I do), there’s a Starbucks on-site.

Where to Eat:

I asked for restaurant recommendations on Instagram before we left, and so many people said we had to eat at the Sea Captain’s House! We couldn’t wait to dig into some seafood.

The restaurant is located in a historic beach cottage, and is absolutely gorgeous inside and out! Our waiter and the rest of the staff were so kind. I was impressed with the top-notch customer service. And the food – WOW! We love seafood, and the Sea Captain’s House has some of the best I’ve ever tasted! If you go, please try the award-winning She Crab Soup and the fried fish platter. YUM!

Each table gets an order of warm hushpuppies with softened honey butter. *drool* I’m pretty sure my kids ate 10 each!

Speaking of my little demons…er…children, they were WILD that morning. I was grateful that the Sea Captain’s House offered adult beverages. I needed that bloody mary!

That view!!!

There’s also seating outside for when the weather is warm. I love the boat-shaped bar!

We had breakfast at Flapjacks Pancake Cabin. The service there was also outstanding and the food was delicious!

Our waitress heard we were headed to the Pirates Voyage Dinner Show that evening and made Maddie a Pirate Bear Pancake. So sweet!

Where to Play (and Eat!):

No trip to Myrtle Beach would be complete without checking out the Pirates Voyage Dinner Show! I wrote a separate blog post all about the fun. Click here to check it out!

If you’re planning a trip to Myrtle Beach, I hope you’ll check out Condo-World’s website!
