This month has been a little different for me since I’m participating in the January Whole 30, but I still have lots of favorites to share. January Favorites
Favorite Place I Went This Month
Well, I’ve kind of been a hermit since I’m doing Whole 30 and I’ve been terrified of getting the flu. So we haven’t been to too many cool places. We did take the kids to the Decatur Toy Park this past weekend. And after being stuck inside because of all the snow the week before, it was so nice to get out! We had lunch at Taco Mac, grabbed some tea and coffee from Dancing Goats, and enjoyed spending time outdoors in the sun. It was such a nice family outing.
Favorite Recipe I Made
This one’s easy – these Whole 30 lettuce wraps are the bomb! I made them for a girl’s night I hosted and all my friends said they were so tasty!
Favorite Outfit I Wore
I bought a couple new shirts this month. I’m loving this one from Target. I’ve been wearing it under my chunky grey long cardigan.
Favorite Book/Show/Movie
I finished all of the episodes of Call the Midwife and was legit sad when I was all caught up and couldn’t binge watch the show anymore. I LOVE it! I’m so invested in the characters. Luckily, a new season just started. I’m also loving Victoria and am almost to season 2.
Favorite Kid’s Item
I’m still loving this dress and this dress I bought for Maddie.
Favorite Beauty Product
I tried out a foot mask and a new eyebrow pencil from Sephora this month, and fell in love!
Favorite Date Night
We haven’t had a date night this month! So sad.
Favorite Cocktail
No alcohol on Whole 30! I can’t wait for a glass of wine…
Favorite Target Find
Besides my new shirt, I’m loving all the cute Valentine’s Day decorations! I’ve bought a few from the Dollar Spot and am planning on taking some cute pictures as soon as I can get my act together.
Favorite Activity
We did this super cute Valentine’s Day craft last week. Maddie and I also checked out a new music class at a senior living facility near us that was tons of fun!
Favorite Food
I’m 26 days into Whole 30, so I haven’t been eating any REALLY good food. I did make some homemade compliant mayonnaise and have been enjoying it with homemade baked sweet potato fries.
