Everything You Need to Know About the Dollywood Flower and Food Festival
Last week, Dollywood Parks and Resorts hosted a bunch of influencers for the Dollywood Flower and Food Festival. I was honored to be invited and super excited to check out everything the festival has to offer. From delicious food, to fragrant flowers, to toe-tapping music, there was something exciting around every corner.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Dollywood Flower and Food Festival so you can plan your own family getaway to Dollywood!
The festival runs from April 23rd through June 7th and is included with your park ticket. To ensure the safety of the guests and maintain social distancing, reservations are required. Click here to check the calendar, purchase a park ticket, and make a reservation.
Dollywood has implemented some safety measures based on the CDC’s guidelines. Check out the full list here. When I visited, masks were required inside all buildings, restaurants, in queue lines, on rides, and during any interactions with Dollywood hosts. Dollywood is also limiting park capacity, encouraging social distancing, and screening all guests with a health assessment questionnaire at the park entrance. I felt completely safe at Dollywood and was impressed by how they’re handling the pandemic.
The Dining Pass is worth it if you’re planning on trying some of the yummy festival food. For $29.99 (or $27.99 for season passholders) you’ll get a dining pass lanyard that will let you try 5 different festival offerings from any 5 locations. There are so many delicious foods to try and this is a great way to get more bang for your buck! Make sure to pick up a free Experience Guide at the front of the park so you’ll know where to find everything. Plus it’s full of fun stickers you can use to mark each item in the guide after you experience it.
It wouldn’t be a Flower and Food festival without some amazing flowers! There are multiple flower mosaic sculptures scattered throughout the park. My favorite was the Coat of Many Colors – a huge sculpture of Dolly’s mother sewing together her coat of many colors from the famous song. And you can’t miss the Umbrella Sky as you enter the park. Make sure you take some time to sit under the umbrellas, watch them sway in the breeze, and of course take lots of pictures!

One of my favorite parts of a visit to Dollywood is checking out all of the amazing music and shows. The spring concert series features some super talented Contemporary Christian and Southern Gospel artists. Check out the line-up here!
My favorite place to stay when we visit Dollywood is the DreamMore Resort and Spa. It has it all – amazing mountain views, great amenities, beautiful rooms, yummy food, and special park ticket packages. Stay tuned for a more detailed blog post all about the DreamMore Resort and Spa! Dollywood also has cabins to rent with hot tubs, game rooms, and stunning mountain views.
Since you’ll be in Pigeon Forge for the festival, you might as well check out a few other amazing attractions in the area. Like Dollywood Splash Country Waterpark, the Pink Jeep Tours, Pirates Voyage Dinner Show (check out my blog post about Pirates Voyage here), and Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show.
Remember – the festival runs through June 7th. Hope you can check it out!
