Disney Cruise Recap Days 3 and 4
Day 3
Day 3 started out with some morning snuggles! Then the kids went to the kid’s club so the adults could enjoy the spa. I didn’t take any pictures inside the spa area, but we enjoyed checking it out. I will say that we probably won’t do the spa on our next cruise. I found it hard to lay around and relax when there were so many other fun things I wanted to do and experience! After the spa, we met up with my dad for some lunch.
After lunch, Josh and I had headed off to a Martini Tasting. We did a Mixology Class on our previous cruise and really enjoyed it! The martini tasting was also lots of fun, but I’d recommend Mixology over the tasting. It was more interactive, and I loved making the drinks.
When we went to pick up the kids, Graham didn’t want to leave! So he stayed in the kid’s club while Maddie, Josh, and I had some downtime in the room. We ordered a snack from room service and relaxed.
We eventually went back to pick up Graham and spent some family time at the pool. Then it was time to get ready for Pirate Night! Pirate Mickey loved Maddie’s eye patch!
After dinner, my dad took the kids to watch Rise of the Skywalker at the movie theater while Josh and I checked out a couple of the bars on deck 4.
We also decided to join a trivia game. We tied with 4 other groups for 1st place! There was a tie-breaker question and I didn’t get it in time. But it was still super fun!
After that, we headed up to deck 11 to save a spot for the fireworks. I stood in one spot for almost an hour to hold our spot while Josh went to find my dad and the kids. I felt so rude when I turned a couple of people away when they asked if they could squeeze in. (I was nice about it, but I was determined to have a good spot for us to watch those fireworks!) Then Maddie ended up crying through the whole show. She was so tired (the fireworks were at 10:30pm!) and just wanted to go to bed. Whomp whomp.
Day 4
The next day was our last day on the ship. We started out with some room service and coffee.
Then we headed down to the Princess Gathering to meet some beautiful princesses!
After that, we played the ship detective game. This was something I missed out on during our last cruise because I was sick. It was a blast and a fun way to explore the ship.
After that, we dropped the kids off at the kid’s club and headed to our adult-only brunch at Palo – one of the ship’s fine dining restaurants. (More on that on a separate blog post!) After brunch, we hung out at the adults-only pool for a bit, and then picked up the kids for some family pool time. Maddie and I rode the AquaDuck water slide a couple of times. She’s my wild child!
Matching outfits for our last dinner!
After dinner, we called it an early night and headed back to the room to pack. We didn’t want to leave!
