Disney’s Sanaa Restaurant at the Animal Kingdom Lodge
I’m always looking for yummy new foods to try at Disney World each time we go. I love scrolling through Instagram hashtags and checking out Disney food blogs to see what looks yummy. Disney has some amazing food! Before our last trip, I saw an Instagram post about the bread service at the Sanaa Restaurant at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and I knew I had to try it! I’ve always been a big fan of anything that comes with lots of different sauces, so this was right up my alley.
Bread Service
Traditional Naan, Garlic-Ginger Naan, Spiced Naan, Onion Kucha, and Paneer Paratha. Served with the following sauces – Cucumber Riata, Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, Mango Chutney, Tomato-Date Jam, Tamarind Chutney, Coriander Chuntey, Garlic Pickle, Red Chile Sambal, or Spicy Jalapeño-Lime Pickle. They were all super tasty and everyone in our family had fun trying each one and deciding what they liked best!
Wine Flight
I splurged on a wine flight that night – The Game Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Fair Valley Pinotage, and the Black Pearl Oro. Yum!

Main Course
I had the lamb and Josh got a steak. Both were delish but now I’m dying to go back to try some more of the main courses!
Dessert
Another fun thing I saw on a Disney blogger’s Instagram feed was this super cool dessert for kids – an African “shield cookie” with edible paint and a brownie a la mode. We only ordered one dessert for the kids to share, but our waitress was SO nice and brought us two cookies and two paint brushes so Graham and Maddie could each paint their own cookie.
Josh and I tried something chocolatey and divine for dessert. I should have written down what it was though – I can’t remember!

Insider tip – try to grab a lunch or early dinner reservation and ask for a seat next to a window. You may get lucky and see some of the animals!
