Since I started blogging again, I’ve been looking at everything through a photographer’s eye. What would make an awesome picture for my blog and for Instagram? When we planned our little kid-free getaway to Nashville, I knew I had to scope out some great spots to take pictures. Nashville has plenty! All of the creativity in that town is amazing. We ended up finding so many, that I thought I’d make an entire post about it. So if you’re heading to Nashville anytime soon, grab your camera or your phone, and check out my top 5 best places to take an Instagram-worthy picture in Nashville. (With a few bonus spots included at the end!)
(Sorry for making you guys look at a million pictures of me. Should’ve made my husband hop in a few of these!)
1. I Believe in Nashville mural – 2700 12th Ave. S.
This mural just celebrated it’s 5 year anniversary. It was actually vandalized back in March of this year, but they were able to get it cleaned up and repainted. I love the colors – makes a great picture!
2. Nashville’s What Lifts You Wings – 302 11th Ave S in The Gulch
Amazing artwork by Kelsey Montague. There’s even a smaller set of wings for pictures of your kids or your dog. So fun!
3. The Wall of Records inside the Country Music Hall of Fame
I really enjoyed the tour and there were a ton of great photo ops inside. But I think everyone needs a picture in front of the Wall of Records!
4. Honky Tonk Central – 329 Broadway
We didn’t actually visit this bar because it was so crowded every time we walked by. It looked fun, but it wasn’t quite the speed that two 30-ish-year-old-parents were looking for. But the side of the building makes for a pretty cool pic!
5. Mother Maybelle Carter Mural at Carter’s Vintage Guitars – 625 8th Avenue S.
I saved my favorite for last! Loved having my picture taken with Mother Maybelle! “Keep on the sunny side!”
Here’s a few more awesome photo ops in music city:
I’m sure there are tons more! Where is your favorite photo op in Nashville?
Oh my gosh!!!!! Such great photos, and places to take photos. And BTW, I will be singing “get on the sunny side” the rest of the day!
It’s such a great song, right?!
nice pictures especially the Carter’s Vintage Guitars. Good place for taking snapshots
Thanks! I love taking pics!
Woah! Great job scouting those locations! I would most definitely stop by What Lifts you wings and Draper James! Love the simplicity in both and how cool is it that the wings have a name! Super cool.
The wings are super cool! I think she has more murals in other cities too. So neat!
Such beautiful pics! I love this post! Great job!
